What to expect when undergoing treatment
An initial interview with a homeopath will usually last approx. 2hrs. In this interview the patient is encouraged to freely and fully describe their experience of their illness. From this point the Homeopath will flesh out the "picture" asking questions involving the patient's state of mind, fears, sensations, body functions, quality of sleep etc... Many patients question the relevance of this type of investigation in relation to their illness. Homeopathy is holistic and because of this, the patient is always treated as a whole.
Typically a remedy will be sent shortly after your consultation, along with instructions for taking it. At this time, it is best to arrange a follow up appointment.

How Does Homeopathy differ from Conventional medicine?
Conventional medicine is based upon the theory of opposites (Allopathy). It's treatment attempts to control or suppress symptoms. Homeopathy is based upon the principle of "like cures like". If a substance can cause specific symptoms in healthy people then it can be used medicinally to cure those same symptoms in a person who is sick.
